Special issue of Charlie Hebdo at the occasion of the French World Cup 1998
Three years already since the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo.
So many articles and comments from people who don’t speak a word of French and have no clue of France’s traditions of political satire and anti-clericalism, let alone the French model of the secular state…
Understanding Charlie is a most welcome exercise in intercultural empathy and, yes, respect.
