On January 31st, a conference on crypto currencies was held at the Assemblée Nationale, with Pierre PERSON (Member of the French Parliament) and Assen SLIM, HDR Senior Lecturer in Economics at INALCO and EU*Asia Institute member.
The European Institute for Development Studies (IEED) organized a conference on the issue of virtual currencies as part of the Economic and Social Development Club (DES). Given the growing interest of public authorities in cryptocurrencies, this meeting brought together politicians and researchers for a discussion on the future of virtual currencies and their impact on the economic environment after their regulation.
We had the pleasure of having as speakers, Mr Pierre PERSON, Member of Parliament for Paris and expert at the Assemblée Nationale on virtual currencies, as well as Mr Assen SLIM, HDR Senior Lecturer in economics at INALCO and EU*Asia Institute member.
