This is the second book published by Sabine Ichikawa ; an adaptation of her doctoral thesis in business history, defended in 2012 at the EHESS. It focuses on the fashion industry in China over 150 years and the specific influence of Japan.
The book is prefaced by Jean-Noël Kapferer, Professor Emeritus of Marketing at HEC, and the afterword is by Gilles Garel, Professor of Innovation Management at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
