  • “Textes clés de l’éthique des affaires” (trad: Key Texts on Business Ethics, Vrin, 2011) and
  • “Economic Theory and Globalisation” (in collaboration with Thomas Hoerber, Palgrave Macmillan, 2019).

Alain Anquetil is a member of academic and professional associations in ethics and has a weekly philosophy column on the European radio station Euradio.

Created in January 2011, the ‘Philosophy & Business Ethics’ blog had more than 270 articles at the beginning of 2022. There has been a bilingual French-English version since 2018.

Inspired by current events, particularly economic ones, each article deals with a philosophical question, documented by references to academic literature, and includes a conceptual analysis whose ambition is both to stimulate reflection and to consider practical consequences.

If it is part of business ethics (one of the ‘applied ethics’), it is because this field of research combines philosophy, in particular moral philosophy, with social science disciplines. The result is a wealth of ideas, conceptual connections, theories, and practical advice. The principal objective of the ‘Philosophy & Business Ethics’ blog is to give an account of this and hence attract the attention of a public that is curious and open to our world.
